42' Canal Cruiser Built for Comfort...
Erie Canal Cruise Lines has combined the
traditional style of English barges with the conveniences
of modern live-aboard boats. The authentic appearance,
simple operation, and comfortable interior make a Canal
Cruiser the perfect choice for your canalling vacation.
Our Canal Cruisers
are 42-foot long and 12-foot wide. Amenities include
two private suites with full-size mattresses, separate
lavs and heads, a large shower, a galley with modern
conveniences, and a dinette that converts to an additional
full-size bed. The social areas are located aft, while
the private suites are forward. Convenient built-in
steps on the fore and aft decks offer easy access to
the cabin top for sunning or locking through. The turbo
diesel engine, enclosed in a soundproof box, provides
dependable and quiet power. Wheel steering and a bow
thruster make navigating locks and tight channels safe
and simple. The modified V-hull allows space for 350
gallons each of fresh water and fuel which provide ballast
and stability.

sleeps 6. Your fully equipped Canal Cruiser was designed
for maximum comfort and privacy for a week of carefree
cruising. Generous dimensions allow for features like
extra-large shower and full-size beds with real innerspring
mattresses.

GALLEY:
Central heat, stainless steel three-burner gas
range and oven, stainless steel sink and counter tops,
hot and cold water, refrigerator with freezer, microwave,
TV/VCR, CD/cassette stereo, cooking utensils, service
for six, and plenty of storage!
ELECTRICAL
SUPPLY: 12v DC for refrigerator, lights,
fans, and pumps with three outlets for cell phones,
laptops, etc. A 110v AC inverter supplies outlets for
TV, radio, and coffee maker. Shore power is available
at most ports along the canal.
ENGINE:
63-hp turbo diesel with single-lever control, 350 gallon
fuel capacity.
BOW
THRUSTER: Standard equipment to assure safe
and graceful locking and docking.
WATER:
350 gallon fresh water tank capacity.
SLEEPING:
Comfortably sleeps four with full-size beds in two private
suites, plus dinette full berth will sleep up to two
more.
